Works great! Received it in a day. Plugged it in and we went from 1 bar of coverage to 5 bars on the main two floors and at worst in the far corners of the lower level of our 8000 square foot home, 3 bars, where there was no signal previously . Good buy, very happy

I lived in area with no cell tower and no FIOS. I had an old Samsung network extender that Verizon provided that worked great until it stopped working (or was turned off my Verizon?). I was then sent this LTE extender which mostly doesn't work at all, and when it does work, it only somewhat works. When it "works", I have dropped calls and voices sound garbled and staccato most of the time. Now Verizon has told me they are discontinuing copper landlines in my area, which will leave me isolated with cellular phone service that may or may not work, and mostly doesn't work. This is a health and safety issue and Verizon needs to continue to maintain the copper lines, or to come up with a reliable network extender that works all of the time.

I had a prior LTE network extender that worked for about two years then failed. That left me with wireless coverage over only part of my house. I have now received two replacement extenders and neither works. Unable to get tech support to fix. Like other reviewers, trying to get help from Verizon support is a nightmare. I am constantly transferred from representative to representative, then the chats get disconnected, despite my constantly keeping the string alive. Promised calls from Tech Support never made.

After 15 years with Verizon, they simply don’t care about the customer any longer. Service has gotten so bad and you are hung up on repeatedly when you call.

We have one at the office and one at home and both have done exactly what it said they would do. We have full service all the time. I am so confused as to why it has negative reviews because it does the job.

I've been using Verizon network extenders for years. I live in the country, and get 1-2 bars, on a good day, from Verizon. I need the network extender. The network extender gives me consistent 4 bars in and around my house, with consistently good call quality. If you live in the country, or in an area with bad coverage, give it a try. I am surprised by all the 1 star reviews. The network extender makes my phone useable when it otherwise is frequently not useable. I did ding it one star for a couple reasons: 1. I have to order my latest network extender after the current one simply stopped working, for no reason. I believe the new one will be my third of this model, so Verizon gets a low score on the build quality. 2. Tech support could be better.

I like the display and info it provides. Web interface is easy to navigate. Integrated hardwire antenna is well done. But performance of this thing is horrible. I'm on a 1G google fiber internet connection. Call quality is sporadic with the majority of the time getting choppy, garbled audio. Samsung will not allow my unlocked phone to use wifi calling either so I MUST rely on the extender. It's pretty obvious their strategy is to move customers kicking and screaming to 5G.

10 years ago, I learned about these magical network extenders/devices, after I called Verizon to complain/cancel service. I was sick of the one bar and funky WiFi calling feature. "We will send a tech to your area and check on the signal", silly response from Verizon. Well... after all the complaints, problem solved with a Samsung Network Extender, Verizon finally sent me. Fast-forward to now. I learned Verizon stopped supporting the Samsung Network Extender (no news, email, just turned them all off), and took a few weeks of calling Verizon, to learn that I need the newest and greatest. This newest and greatest needs to be fixed. Yes... I have full-bars of service. Yes... it offers great connection speed. On paper, so much better than the old Samsung. The issue, I can't hear people, but they can hear me. I get a grabbling sound, as if the other person in driving through a tunnel. Thought it was my phone. Thought it was my ear buds. So one day, I was on a very important call, couldn't hear what the other person was saying. Walked over in frustration, and unplugged my Network Extender. Instantly, I could hear every word the other person was saying. Verizon knows of this issue. The solution, is just to send you a new one, that will have the same issue. Just bring back the old Samsung Network Extender!

This is an outdated extender for cell service they need one now for 5g I could figure out why my phone kept disconnecting from it but later myself figured out that when I cut my 5g on it disconnected me from my tower when I cut my 5g service off it connected to the extender 3 techs and 2 hours later I find myself the problem

The LTE Network Extender requires a wired broadband ISP, and is not compatible with satellite nor cellular based wireless internet ISP services. The wired ISP must have a minimum broadband speed of 10 Mbps downlink and 5 Mbps uplink. However, a broadband connection of 20 Mbps downlink or 10 Mbps uplink or higher is recommended. -John
