Emergency alerts keep you updated on situations like severe weather, public safety threats, AMBER alerts, etc. Set your Galaxy A02s to receive only the alerts you want.

Before you begin

National alerts can't be disabled.

Steps

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Safety and emergency
    Wireless Emergency Alerts
    .
  3. Tap
    Allow alerts
     to turn on or off.
  4. Tap any of the following switches to turn on or off.
    • Extreme threats
    • Severe threats
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety messages
    • State and local tests
